Tuna trip Sunday into Monday
As the title says, have an upcoming trip as a make up for the one that got blown out last week. I haven't seen many reports and know it's been rough out there, but looks to be settling down. Hoping for any insight you could give as I have not been on a canyon trip in 5+ years and am excited the weather looks decent for this one. Do you guys think all the rough weather for the last week might have made them disappear, or hopefully made them hungry? Thanks in advance

Re: Tuna trip Sunday into Monday
This time of year if you can get out, it’s practically a guarantee and these storms cause more issues inshore and bottom fishing then out in the canyons. Good luck and make us proud!!

Re: Tuna trip Sunday into Monday
Just got in last night from offshore. Tuna fishing has cooled off a little bit. The fish are still in the inshore grounds but you have to put your time in on the rail to be successful. Therese still a tremendous amount of life there. I'm leaving on the Golden Eagle Sunday and will run to that area first. The water in the Hudson is warmer but void of life but that can change any day. Best of luck on your trip. The weather looks good for your trip.
