![]() Every Friday of MDW me, my dad, and my 2 uncles fish the Housatonic River in CT. The fishing is always pretty good, but this year we truly had an epic day. Between the 4 of us, we landed 130 including browns, rainbows, smallies, and even a pike (first we have ever seen in this river). Will be hard to ever top this day.

![]() Nice outing. Were you above or below Kent? The pike have been in there a long time and made there way down river from Ma. I've been fishing it since the early '60's and you had to keep tabs on the power plant because the water could rise a couple of feet in 15 to 20 minutes. The river was probably running 1500 CFS on Friday.

![]() We were above Kent. River was around 1200, which was still a little high and fast so wading was fairly difficult. Rocky bottom and fast moving water usually makes the wading up there a little bit of an adventure. But did not hurt the fishing!
