Weekend report 4/19-4/21

Finally made it through the work week again, and it was time to fish!!! Shot to the valley after work and jumped in the boat with my main man Reddi. Trolled til 7 ish and picked up three lakers and two nice bows for just a few hours of fishing. Turned north and headed home and snuck out with the mamba on a night mission with jimmy livebait for a quick venture on the big pond up north. Ended up throwing small plastics and jimmy stuck 2 eyes. We called it early with the big bright dumb thing in the sky ! Water still needs to come up a few degrees as well.... Saturday morning bright and early hit my favorite trout stream in this little state and was not disappointed... tons of bows left from the night before stocking all released and kept one nice big one for the smoker 18” ish. Powercheese worked the best. Sunday I got out for a session with my pops at the valley to stay on my toes for the May 4 th tourney coming up. Fished the hours that would have been ended up doing good bows were tough at first but we found some holdovers and the lakers bit all day losing a few at the net but we made up for it and stuck one over 24” for a “over fish” wrong day for this thing!!!! But I guess at least I think I’m doing something right. Lots of little bows out and about to keep the rods bent.

i see the black mamba is already on the nite time walleyes and you are looking good for that may 5th tourney good luck and tight lines.
