![]() well with a water temp of about 39f I would go out on a limb and say not much.
If I still lived there and was desperate to catch a fish or two I would fish Manasquan Inlet on a nice day, and maybe catch a skate or two, and on a good day maybe a sundial or a shad, but actually its kind of cold for that kind of stuff inshore... bob |

![]() Stripers are open as of March 1. Graveling Point in Mystic Island is a Spring hotspot. There's usually a contest at local Tackle Shops for the 1st Keeper Striper of the year. You'll have to wait for the water temps to rise a little before the action begins.

![]() If you got the itch, go to Redbank pier in back of the hospital. I have caught flounder in there in Feb just as early as Shark river.
