Today was another cold one, but compared to yesterday it was a heatwave. The "warmer" temperature made fishing easier, which then yielded a much better catch. We had a lot of nice cod fish, with some up to 15lbs. We also had a nice mix of ling, a bunch of sea bass and porgies, and even a haddock.
Unfortunately, this was the last trip for the sea bass and porgy season. Tomorrow's trip has been cancelled due to high winds. We will be cod fishing from here on out, by reservation and depending on the weather.
