Default Farrinton Report

Decided to launch at Church Street to fish the upper portion with all the lily pads, the launch there is in extremely poor condition and was barely able to put the boat in. The difficult launch was worth it as I got 3 LMB to 3 lbs out of the pads. Fish caught on superfluke twitching. Then the dreaded SUN came up and there was no action.
Not sure if launching or reloading the boat was more problematic!
They need to re-open this ramp some how.

Sounds like a good day fishing thou. My buddy just showed me how to do that over pads. Fun technique. Toothy fish seem to like pink

I like to launch at the upper portion of the pond as this is where the majority of the pads are. Yes, the other launch is much better, but it is a long trip via trolling motor to the far end of the pond. I have had success downstream from the pads on multiple occasions, prefer the upper reaches as I have had more success. My personal best in NJ has been there with a 6+ lb monster out of the pads years ago.
