![]() Went crabbing this morning in the river. Used chicken and drop lines. Caught about a 5gal bucket worth of crabs in 4 hrs. Mixed sizes with some being just keepers and some being some of the biggest crabs I have ever seen in the river. Huge males. Had to keep bouncing around though. Spot would dry up after a half hour or so. Good time to get out there if you're tired of not catching fluke.

![]() I'm sure Pete and Tom ( Roosters) will be making the transition pretty soon. When Cliff and Jim give up on the river fluke, it will definitely be time to break out the drop lines and traps.
The crabs and snappers ( Which are already in the rivers.) might save the summer! |
