![]() Had Chad W and his crew from PA and WV up for the weekend. They wanted to do a seabass trip, shark trip, and a bass trip.
Sat AM Seabass -- Good fishing with a near limit. Weather was interesting with the squall line but it turned out to be a beautful day. Also had a few ling and at least a dozen very lucky tog. Biggest seabass ~3#. Had COUNTLESS shorts. Sat PM Bass -- 0-0 on the bass! Completely fishless; Not even a knockdown or runoff. Did a little more seabassin' and got a few more + a bunch of tog that had to go back. Sun AM Sharkin'/Seabass -- Sharkin' was NG as conditions were horrible. Lines going one way, chum the other. Finished up seabassin' again in 85-100' and scraped up another 30 + countless shorts and a few ling. Diamond jig bite was hot as the fish were gorging on sandeels -- I boated at least 30 to 3.5# on a jig today fishing from the flybridge ![]() All in all a good weekend. Thank god for the seabass!!! |
