Mud Puddle Bassin' with the brats

Between the rains and baseball/softball/tball games, its been a rough time getting on the water with the boys this year..finally had a little time with no rain and no games yesterday, so got Bubba and his little brother CJ out to a local spot...CJ has been begging to get out for a bit, and I think we made worth his while...a few sunnies here and there on worms, and 1-2 dink bass for Bubba were all we had till we put the fish on the clock...tied on one of my tried and true soft plastics and got hammered on the 2nd cast...made sure the fish was well hooked, and passed the rod off to my little guy
