Furnace Lake is CLOSED to fishing until opening day. Mountain Lake is open to fishing.

Skunksville is completely open water as is most of GWL. Just a little bit of ice by SOUTHSIDE MARINA.

Water temps still down there, it needs to come up a few degrees before it turns on...oh wait this SKUNKSVILLE, it does not turn on until after 1 am until 4am then slams shut as always! No fish in there anyway...

Best to spend your efforts elsewhere catching dog food fed bows.

This what Lee's website is saying for hours of operation this year...looks like it true, we are f'd. We can thank the a-holes who try and launch for free, the wake board boats with the tunes cracked up who feel are not subject to boating safety laws, the drunks who like to park in flotillas and get hammered.

Once again cash talks & the property owners have won. It is us sportsman who have to suffer because of jackasses.

Here it is...

HOURS OF OPERATION:
The Marina tentatively opens April 1 and operates through November 30.
• Season opening and closing may change due to weather and other conditions.
• It is highly recommended that you call ahead.

Open April 1 through April 30
• Daily 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Open May 1 through November 30
• Weekdays Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Weekends Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It does not specify that the ramps will be shut down, possibly it is that must launch by that time specified.
