![]() Has anyone fish for or heard anything about snakeheads anywhere in New Jersey in recent years I know couple of years ago it was a big thing been thinking about going out and trying for them just not sure where there had been sighted or if they're even still around

![]() The tidal tributaries of the Lower Big D seems to be the hot spot for them.

![]() I hope they don't like rocky, running water!.. if they make it up to the non tidal areas, that could mean disaster for walleyes, SMB, and especially the trout in the upper delaware

![]() Yep tidal section is your best bet but they are slowly moving North. Couple years ago I shot one above the easton area in the delaware and since than have heard of a handful in the non tidal section but no this far north. Plenty of them in the tidal section mostly in the tribs but we find a few on the main River as well. Best night last year we shot 17 but typically a good night is shooting 1 or 2.
