Default the forsythia in front of my house is blooming...

opened op despite yesterday's cold!!!!
I'm going to test that theory saturdayy afternoon...

if i catch one despite the cold water temps it must be true!

I checked on snopes and this is apparently a fallacy created by NJFishing.com to encourage people to step away from their computers and get back to fishing

PS. I usually wait until I see the yellow flowers in full bloom so you might be a little early

Forsythia bloom was for flounder, azalea bloom for mackerel....So I was always told.....

Has anyone told the fish? I thought it was on when the night crawlers came out. For me, it usually starts on the day following my wife's posting of my Spring "honey do" list.

Flounder seems like the best bet

One that I got from my friend, George at Crystal Marine in PP is" When the dandilions are on the lawn, the blackfish are in the canal " I found that to be true. Papa
