![]() Freshwater fisheries research, management and recreational angling will be discussed Saturday, February 18 at the Batsto Visitor's Center in Wharton State Forest in Burlington County at 10:00 a.m. This is an opportunity to learn about existing programs and to share your views and recommendations.
Presentations include the Coolwater Species Assessment evaluating stocking programs for Muskellunge, Northern Pike, Hybrid Striped Bass and Walleye, and 2016 Warmwater Fisheries Sampling activities in the southern portion of the state. |

![]() Nothing new to report from the S.J. Forum. Same presentations as 4 weeks ago at Hackettestown. Scott Collenburg replayed his presentation on the Coolwater Fisheries research he's been conducting and Chris Smith brought everyone up to date on his warmwater/bass work around the state.
No trout news except for the Bonus Broodstock Pond list for this spring. All trout info/updates/proposals are being withheld until the 'Official' Trout Meeting at the Pequest Hatchery next Sat. Reminder, it you're a trout angler you should most definitely try to make it to the Trout Meeting next week. Reg change proposals for both Wild Trout Streams and General Regulation waters are going to be aired for discussion and input from the angling community. |
