Thumbs up Hunterdon County Sportsmen's Federation Meeting 1/12/17:

I attended the HCSF meeting on 1/12/17. BIG meeting as people from the New Jersey Fish and Game State Council were on hand to talk to the public. This meeting was not held at their regular meeting place but was held at Reaville Sportsmen's Association Club building on Barley Sheaf Rd. near Flemington.
The building was very nice and had a large bar. The Federation supplied pizza and soft drinks for the meeting. Here was a chance to talk to Fish and Game Council members face to face without having to go to Robbinsville. At least 30 people attended the meeting and there was a lot of discussion on various topics.
I reached out to Loren Robinson earlier in the week and asked if I could set a small presentation in the back of the room, he said by all means yes !
I went as a volunteer representative for Central Jersey Stream Team and laid out a bunch of photos from recent clean ups on the South Branch, North Branch and main stem of the Raritan river. People came and looked at all the photos at the end of the meeting and I answered questions the best I could, I had a fun time. Remember the Federation is your direct pipeline to the State Fish and Game Council. There were members from Round Valley Trout Association there also. The Federation covers all things related to fishing, hunting and trapping and even more that that. The meeting was very well organized and very glad I went, met a bunch of very nice people tonight.
