Default BOUNTY HUNTER-Slow Bassin With The Tom Elam Charter, 11/19

Well I guess we joined a lot of boats today while trying to put together a Striper catch for the Tom Elam Charter. Bass fishing was slow for Tom & his crew which was made up by Burt, Nate, Joel, Dan & Kyle. Paul ran north and found the Bunker schools and Bass. The guys spent the first part of the morning Snagging & Dropping live Bunker but the Bass were not in a biting mood. After several bumps and misses we Switched over to the Spoons. After a long wait we finally landed our first and only Bass of the day. A short time later we boxed our first and only Bluefish of the day. It was frustrating for everyone and I am sure that while Tom waited for the next Rod to go off he thought about the 51 Lb. Bass he Spooned with Paul back in June. It was a nice day and we spent it with an understanding crew. Be back at it after Gale leaves town.
