Default Tuesday striper Raritan bay

well… Got after them this morning. into position around 630 found fish, started trolling Mojos until light. Pretty good bird activity until around 730-8 then readings and birds dispersed with boat traffic. Managed to crash some birds and pick up one striper on a jig and one on mojo but all in all fish were picky.

I did take the long ride from Keyport out across the hook to look for birdlife, went South for about a mile and a half and didn't see anything so turned back to where I had to readings before to finish up.

anybody have any Intel on birds/fish Oceanside?

Good reads on stripers and bait all day but fish were overall pretty picky all in all a good start to the full run.

Dont only look for the birds look for the bunker pods in the ocean and try some snag and drop. fish may be under even if the bunker arent blowing up, based on my experience

Bingo!! A lot of times you're going to run across bunker but if nothing is harassing them, move on. Even when they do start getting harassed you might not see birds, so don't just look for birds...

Put in your time, log some miles and sooner or later you'll be in the right place at the right time.

That's fishing
