![]() well… Got after them this morning. into position around 630 found fish, started trolling Mojos until light. Pretty good bird activity until around 730-8 then readings and birds dispersed with boat traffic. Managed to crash some birds and pick up one striper on a jig and one on mojo but all in all fish were picky.
I did take the long ride from Keyport out across the hook to look for birdlife, went South for about a mile and a half and didn't see anything so turned back to where I had to readings before to finish up. anybody have any Intel on birds/fish Oceanside? Good reads on stripers and bait all day but fish were overall pretty picky all in all a good start to the full run. |

Put in your time, log some miles and sooner or later you'll be in the right place at the right time. That's fishing
