thanks 23cardinal ---- they`re very, very light wader pants that I could easily get out of...... if I had too. I gotta wear something to keep dry in this Fall weather........ & I do get chilled now that I`m on these blood thinners & all.....

you won't sink in waders if you have a life jacket on. waders with a belt and life jacket will keep you a float...might be tough to get back in the yak though depending. there's a youtube video of a guy demonstrating it. the waders pretty much suck onto you from the water pressure and only a bit of water gets in.

1- "10 LBS"- How do you weigh musky? I hope you don't weight them, that can kill them.
2- Do you drag these fish back to the ramp for a picture? Seems like most of your pics are from the ramp with the reeds to on your left and gravel ground. 3- Consistently fishing musky from a kayak. one of these days you may hook a Big musky and find yourself unprepared without a big enough net, and wrangling it in on a kayak, and you may kill the fish. kayaks are not meant for consistently fishing for musky. Anyway, nice fish, just asking these questions to make sure you and others are practicing safe catch and release procedures so these fish survive. ![]() |
