Default Prowler5 - Thurs., Oct. 20th, Seabass Update

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. Us and the Angler did not shape up today. Looks like we picked a nice day to do our oil change with Marko, Hollywood and Capt. Glenn. We still went down this morning and had two regulars show up Willie and his son that we sent with Capt. Tom of the Atlantic Star. He was high boat with around 11 or 12 people. The other 3/4 day boat went out with 4 people and the Sea Hunter sailed for the 3/4 day bass trip. We'll be shaping up tomorrow (Fri.) looks good 5 to 10 mph south. Although, it's not looking good for Sat. right now (both trips). They are calling for NW 20-30 w/gusts to 40. That's a shame because I have a lot of people wanting to come down for that day. I'll keep everyone updated and we'll see if the forecast changes??? Thx., Capt. Scott

Default Re: Prowler5 - Thurs., Oct. 20th, Seabass Update

I was just down the boat with my two dogs and Capt. Glenn said bad news for Saturday. They just forecasted gale force winds NW with gusts to 40. He said the Sea Hunter came in early today and limited out on the striped bass. It's a shame because I had 10 people coming from PA for the 3:30 to 9:00 eeling striped bass trip for this Saturday. I just had to break the bad news to them. Plus, all the sea bass people I had coming for Saturday. What a shame, that's the way it happens in our business. Anyway, just wanted to let everybody know ahead of time. Sunday looks ok though, 20 to 25 west.
