Saffin pond

My son and I went to Saffin pond today. After 5 months of physical therapy I am finally able to make the walk from parking area to pond. Still have to bring a chair to sit but I'm not complaining. We did great caught a mixed bag of Smallmouth and LGmouth. When he was a little guy and we lived in Netcong we went at 6am every Weekend. Some of you guys that read my post before know he is 29 now.But for a moment this morning it was like old times. But even betting we continue to make memories. The pond is really on its way back since they drained it and repaired the dam.

Hey Bill. Glad to hear you're making progress. It's so great that after all these years you're still fishing with your son. That is priceless. My father first took me fishing when I was 3 or 4 and we still fish together all the time.

Glad to hear you did well. Caught four largemouths a week or two ago, fishing early in the morning there before work. I wasn't aware they had drained the pond. How many years ago? Is it too early for really big bass yet? (Have caught some a little shy of three pounds.)

Catching fish is good Walking again is great. Walking and spending time with ur son and catching fish is fantastic. Glad to hear ur on the mend
