Miss Belmar - Blues, mackerel, pollock, cod, fluke & sea bass!

Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning, we continued fishing out east on the edge of the mud hole. We had super action right away with the mackerel up next to the boat. There was all the mackerel you could catch with small blues mixed in. We are also seeing some keeper pollock along with an occasional keeper cod. Monday's pool winner was a 5 lb pollock caught by Jack.

Friday afternoon, we fished to the north and had very bad conditions with no drift. We eventually managed a pick of short fluke along with one keeper in some deeper water towards the end of the trip. We did see plenty of porpoises in between drifts.

Saturday afternoon, it was more of the same as we tried a few spots east of the inlet with no luck as conditions were once again poor due to the bad squalls that had blown through. We ended up finding some short fluke and sea bass as well as a nice keeper fluke towards the end of the trip.

Sunday afternoon, we slowly picked away on both fluke and sea bass, and at times, we had shots. Some had 8-10 fish, but we ended up with a handful of nice sea bass with some throwbacks.

Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and every afternoon for our Family Fun and Sunset Cruise trip for fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. You may even catch a sighting of a whale or some porpoises!
