![]() I was lucky enough to get invited to fish Candlewood Lake yesterday. It was the first time I fished it. Beautiful lake with some great scenery. We fished several humps around the lake and wound up with 20 or so beautiful yellow perch. They were a ball on my ultra lite rod. I never was a big fan of eating fish from the sweet water but these fish were delicious .Nice firm white meat . Im gonna try to upload pics. If anyone is in the Danbury area I recommend spending a day on
this lake. [ URL=http://s347.photobucket.com/user/Philc7519/media/Mobile%20Uploads/1883D422-179F-4454-AC83-78CE0E1E5F2D_zpsmlruli7h.jpg.html] ![]() |

![]() Nice day!
Yellow perch and trout(only cold, not good over summer) are the only two I consistently eat--- great size, and ultralight is always fun. |
