Reel Class 6/18 Sharkin' - Good Trip!
We had a Shark charter with Jim Lord and crew today.
Left at 5 went to the deep no bites and no life whatsoever except for the tuna chicks eating our chum. Came in shallower near a wreck game on 2 bites 2 threshers first was released at boat side before we got a pic maybe was 50". Second fish was literally 5 minutes later as we were resetting the lines -- a nice 160#er that we took home for the boys. Real nice lean fish that pulled a lot of drag and jumped a couple of times, but basically crapped out at boatside making it nice and easy for us to bring it in. Did a quick ling drop on the way home and picked a dozen jumbos --- got back to the dock just after 3... Great day with a great crew! More pics later.

Nice whip tail for the grill. Veeeeery tasty at that size. Gimme one of those vs a 350any day of the week!
