Gator pike (6/11/16)
Striper fishing was cancelled on Saturday afternoon due to high south winds, so I decided to switch gears and target some river gators. Hit a short stretch that I had never fished before. Only fished for a little while and went 1 for 1, but it was a definitely the right one! A beautiful Passaic River gator pike.

Awesome pike. How were the mosquitoes? Some sections of river the mosquitoes are intolerable right up until winter. Other sections aren't that bad. .
