Big Jamaica 6-9 Report
Thursday Report Fishing with tough most of the day. We picked at small Blues on and off throughout the day. It was time to go home but we decided to give it one more shot. A Few minutes into our final drift a big school of stripers came under the boat. We caught a couple there, we made a short move and they were on top feeding on bunkers. We had another shot of big bass up to 40 pounds. Each bass we hooked had three or four more following it in. We caught bass on, Casting Mojo's, jigs, Crocs, and bunker. Today's pool winner was: Jim Grace from Willingboro, NJ with a 40 pound striped bass. It looks good for tomorrow and it looks good for our afternoon live-lining trip tomorrow. There is still some space available. Big Jamaica schedule to sail everyday at 7:30 a.m. for striped bass and Blues. Tomorrow and Sunday we have Striped Bass live-lining trips leaving at 3:30 p.m. Saturday night there is a night blue fish trip leaving 7:30PM returning to 3:30AM For further information call 732-528-5014.
