FISH STIX - 6/7 Stripers to 48lbs!!!!
Had an open trip crew of 6. Headed out to LOADS of bait up and down the beach. Making bait while fishing. VERY slow morning for us. Just didn't get the bites. Went from pod to pod for miles and read some fish too.
Took a bit before our first fish. But Tyler hooked a monster and the fish peeeeeeled drag. Boated it nicely and it was huge. But one bunker shy of being 50#. No we aren't gonna say it is like everyone else does...... Made a move and found readings of fish stacked and threw out baits and poppers and we had 4 on with everyone else getting bit! That didn't last long. They disappeared. Left there and spoke with Fred and said he had some fish. Went and put on a drift and the fish stayed with us for 30 mins blowing all our baits outta the water. Read them absolutely stacked almost the whole time. They just kept coming! But we just didn't come tight on them. Had to have had 15 bites or more on the day. A bunch of run offs and pulled hooks too. The boys ended up with a fish for each of them. Charley's was his PB around 45lbs, he beasted that fish at 77yrs old! Good for him. Nice day on the water thanks guys. Capt Kris OPENINGS THURSDAY AM, FRIDAY AM/PM, SATURDAY & SUNDAY PM!!
