Saturday on In The Breeze
Met up with NASCAR Mike this morning for the shake down run on his 20 foot Grady center console Launched in sewaren around 730 Took a nice ride out to sandy hook reef picked at smallish sea bass for a while took a ride back into the bay did one drift got fluke 48 foot was the magic depth we had 7 fluke 4 were in the 20 to 21 inch range then it got interesting Decided to troll for a bit put out 2 shad rigs and 1 stretch 25 after a few minutes it was game on with monster blues First time I ever saw 2 bluefish on the same stretch after a few miles few smiles and a few beers we had enough fun and decided it was time to put her back on the trailer
