She's back home after B.O.A.T.

It was the IAC valve. Suzuki engine part from the marine store is $280. Same part from the Suzuki auto store with same part number...$32. Needless to say I picked up an extra for next time.

This weekend's forecast has me thinking work to pay for the repair is a better call.

Good luck boys!

I just had an IAC valve go in my zuke. Code 31
As you said part number for the car is the same (made by mitsubishi )
In a suzuki box.

But was told the marine version has an M in the part number that its made for marine use.
One I bought actually said for marine use only on box.

If she is your first mate i will be happy to come along and do all the work so she can just sit back relax. I will even volunteer to apply sun tan lotion so she does not burn those puppies

I was thinking the same thing and then I wondered how a car with an open grill used at 80mph with 100 temps down to freezing and salt covered ice roads could be worse than under an engine cowling. For $30, I'm willing to snap it in and give it a shot.

thats a good deal.
I bought the one from suzuki marine after seeing on THT that some guys bought the car one and only had them work for a month.

the part number on mine was also 18137-52D00

but the bar code on the rest of the part is different.
. mine is 13539051-53.
curious of their really is a difference or not in the marine one
