Some reports are out there of keeper Stripers being weighed in at local Raritan tackle shops. Also shorts around too on clams and worms. Water temps at the Keansberg gate have been up and down from 38 to 45 degrees the last few days.

For joint pain, my cousin a trainer recommended concentrated tart cherry juice. I have had bad elbow pain. It helped. Health stores have it. I mix a couple tablespoons with a large glass of water twice a day and it worked. It helps sleep too. Check it out.. Good luck..

I visited a number of popular R.B. striper spots today just for a look see. There was no one fishing in the spots I checked. It could have been a tide thing. The Belford boats were dragging crabs in Sandy Hook Bay though. Their season closes on March 31st. The boats at the co-op were offloading many bushels of them. With all that mud stirred up, it might be a place to look for flounder.
