Default Bachelor Party

Just wondering if anyone has any info that could help. I'm looking to book a bachelor party weekend for a friend of mine. We were thinking Lake Ontario in may once the ice has moved out. If anyone has any information on the fishery itself or can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

We rented a boat and cabin at Black River Bay Campgrounds a few years ago.It is a very short ride down the black river to Lake Ontario.I forgot the cost but remember it being pretty cheap. We were there the third week of may and the walleyes had finished spawning in the Black River and had moved out to just outside the mouth of the river.5 to 9 pound walleyes were set up and feeding in 8 feet of water in the weedbeds.Use your depthfinder to find these weedbeds and 8 feet of water and should have great fishing. We driftrd live leeches on a bottom bouncer with floating jigheads.Tblack river is located north of Pulaski almost to the border.Hope this helps.PS we order our leeches online and had them delivered to my house and took them with us.

You can try to fish one of the lakes on route 23 in west milford, or jefferson township then hit up "pumps" on route 15! lol...i think pumps is a different name now though.

Canada is an awesome place for a bachelor party......went to a huge one about 10 yrs ago, we fished Lake O on 3 diff boats and hit toronto for the nitelife....then they had nude bars w alcohol and in Canada they have coins for dollars, some of the chicks had the coin dispenser belt like the ice cream man does! I just couldnt get over the coin thing, some ladies had a special talent to pick them up w various body parts standing on edge lol!

Oswego should be considered - there are hotels right on a sheltered bay at the mouth of the river - great spot for trolling trout and salmon in the early season. If you bring a boat, the launch is five minutes away. The river itself holds good trout too and there may be steelhead around in early May.
