Got a text Friday night from Capt. Mugger (a.k.a. Capt. Roman) about a ns open boat from Leonardo. As usual it was very difficult to get me to go on short notice. (took almost 6 seconds). We had a great day busting balls and
togging. Didn't get a boat limit, but got close. Best news of the day was Capt. Mugger got a toggin lesson from Gentleman Frank w Capt. "Mugger" next to him fishing was very hot early and got close to a double limit early. I then got a lesson from Carmine, then the Capt. joined with a beautiful 6+ pounder. I eventually contributed a couple of fish to the fray. Overall a great January day on the water.
