Default FISHERMEN/Mondays Report, Bass & Blues

Fishing has been tough to say the least the past few days. We've covered many miles looking for a bite, only to come home with the tail between the legs.....Today started out pretty much the same, in search mode looking once again.

Worked way South, then back up to the North. Finally found the Gannets crashing on some herring. First fish in the boat was a 28 inch Bass, Second fish, a Pool winning 29 pound beauty along with another at 22 pounds.

Big Blues in the mix for the first time in a couple weeks! First good shot of the herring, so the Crocs and Big shads will work also. Plain Jigs and Tsunami shads.

Back at it tomorrow! Weather looks great....

Capt. Ron

Saw plenty of bass signs just off the beach in the Hamptons so there are some still fish coming down the line.
