Default Monger 11-21 couple nibbles.....

Was asked to join Joey Jugs & Tony Triggs on a togging charter. Along with Tony & Joeys sons we were joined by Greg V, Suzanne, Juilan,Mr. Bates & Capt. Louie.

Arrived at the dock at 5am to be greeted by northeast 25-30 ahhhhh Murray weather! Capn Hank elected to wait a lil bit for the wind to hopefully calm down & the seas. Hank got word from some Captains that it wasn't to bad north of asbuy so we made our way out into sh!t! took hank a solid hour to get to Asbury but as always I have 0 fear in that machine & Capn Hanks ability to get through the slop.

We arrived at the tog grounds at 8:15 & BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! I had a limit by 10:00am all on greens I then switched to whites & had 7 more keeps up to 8lbs by noon for a total of 13 keeps & close to 20 or so shorts. Bite was pretty consistent all morning if you left your bait down long enough a toggy found it no matter where ya pitched. We had our charter limit by 11 then added the other 12 by noon. Triggs & Joey jigs each had 14keeps (ORL) the kids also were dialed in until there dads mugged em! We were culling at 1 point & I am pretty sure everyone had a limit or at least 5 keeps along with a ton of shorts. Seas calmed a bit as the day went on & we had a smooth ride in.

Great trip & Capn Hank & Nate as always were top of there game. I just want to end this by sending my condolences out to Fish Monger legend Had & his family. Anyone who knew Had knew the guy loved to fish & I was blessed to of fished & drove to the shore many times with him & hear his awesome stories. Had joined Heavens Team Monger over the weekend & I am sure Ralphy & LAB were there to greet him. Be strong Birch's & know we are praying for all of you.

Nice Report JMurr...
I am sorry to hear the news about Had. I did fish with him a few times while togging. Great guy. I hope I can still fish when I reach that age. My condolences to his family.
