Mimi vi 11/18
Showed up at the dock to see a crew of 20 people: some familiar faces, some sharpies, some newcomers. Pushed out of MI to every bit of 4-6 footers and made our way to the grounds. Fishing was tough for everyone with flurries here and there. But there was action all around the boat with mostly shorts and keepers mixed in. High hook had a limit and got the pool (pool fish was around 5 lbs). Average person went home with 2-3 fish, catching an additional 8 or more shorts and unfortunately some angelers went home empty handed.
CAPT. CHRIS did a great job putting the boat over the sticky stuff, made adjustments when needed, and gave everyone a chance at the bite. Please check open boat forum for additional open boat dates.
