Shimano Flat Fall Jigs

I had a chance to use a Shimano Flat Fall jig the other day and liked it a lot. It is meant to be fished yo yo style so there is no special technique involved except to keep the line tight as you follow the jig down with your rod. The stripers liked them too and really hammered them on the fall. We fished alongside one of the party boats in the fleet and we had steady action while those fishing AVA style jigs on the PB were shut out. As I mentioned once before......match the hatch. Use wide bodied jigs when the bass are on bunkers.
