Default FISHERMEN/Wednesday's Striped Bass Fishing Report..

If only we could catch a Third of what we have been reading on the fish finder and seeing with our eyes, today would have been a banner day. Unfortunately, after tossing everything imaginable out there, we only had a pick and a few shots at the fish. Very Frustrating to say the least.

When we did have life pop up (in several area's), the boat traffic sent it down immediately. Finally had a great drift with the wind and tide together but it didn't matter, I'm sure those fish are just as confused as I am as too what the hell is going on.

Not a Happy Birthday for me as my wish didn't come true!!!

Back at it tomorrow to give it Hell once again.

Capt. Ron

Although I wasn't on The Fisherman today, I WAS out there. We had fish on top until the nitwits started running through the fish. The guys that were on the fish early were respectful of the other guys. Everyone was nice and easy going when repositioning. Then along 8 o'clock the morons that didn't get out early made the bite turn off by running through the fish. Saw one guy at about 3/4 throttle run between 2 boats, not much room between them!

I have made my complaints known on NJFISHING before so I won't comment again....

Oh ok I will,

WHAT THE F*#&k is wrong with people!! We are all out there to catch the same fish. If YOU want to ruin it for everyone, GO FISH BY YOURSELF!
To those of you that were GENTLEMANLY, I APPLAUD YOU!!

Was nice to see a couple fathers taking their sons out of school to have an opportunity to take part in our fishery!

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday and many happy returns It was great to get out with you yesterday, nice action at the end of the day and the overtime fishing was appreciated !

I'm still scratching my head after seeing numerous boats trolling THROUGH the fleet, not around it. If it's aggravating for me, I can't imagine your perspective And just when you thought a small patch of productive Raritan Bay water couldn't get any more congested, that ginormous whale breached 15 feet off our side ! I bet the kayakers needed new skivvies.
