Fisher Price IV Excellent Good AM / Excellent PM Bass Fishing
AM- This morning we had the Lou Medina charter out for some bass fishing. The guys really wanted to catch fish on artificials and top water plugs instead of troll. Found some bird life right away and managed to pull a few shorts on shads. For the next three hours we chased fish and birds around and at some points had them beating the water white. Once the action died, we found some bunkers and managed to go 1 for 3 on the chunk. Ended the morning with 6 keeper sized fish to around 15 lbs ( only keeping legal limit) and released another 21 shorts.
PM- Ran our open boat trip this afternoon. Headed back to where we had the action in morning only to find a crowd of boats working small patches of fish. Kept going till we found what we were looking for. Got into a good snag and drop bite all afternoon. The guys managed to land a total 17 keeper sized bass to almost 30 lbs. before calling it an early evening.
