We started out eeling and got into the fish immediately on the first drift. Unfortunately we dropped all 7 pick ups setting a new record.

All kidding aside the guys adjusted themselves to the less than ideal conditions and we landed some bass and blues. That fell apart so we searched and found piles of jig fish but it was a total cluster**** with the little boats zooming around like that scene in Jaws. The only thing missing was some googan throwing cherry bombs in the water. We jigged some nice bass in spite of it all including Lou Alimi's pool fish of 15 lbs. The gator blues were there too to spice up the catch.
All together a good day with a great crew of guys. Thanks to all aboard today.
See you on the dock.
PS Kevin is taking a well deserved vacation with his family from Wednesday the 4th until Saturday the 7th so the boat will be tied up until then. Sunday the 8th we will resume bass fishing everyday at 7:30 am.
