Default Stripers

Anyone have information on stripers in the Raritan Bay? Clams or eels?
Which is better?
Thanks!

Depends on when and where. I would you use eels only in the rip at night and clams anywhere on flats at night also. Today the ticket was soft shads, at least where I was. Heard live liners back in the bay did pretty well today also. This is just my opinion, I'm sure others do well using different ways.

100% agree. If going during during the day, I like 6" shads that resemble bunker right now.
