![]() We only had a few regulars show up today with the wind forecast and colder temps. The porgy fishing was good again to start the day with Jose catching 20 keepers and a load of shorts before we went for black fish. Everyone caught today but Sarah had the pool fish at 7 # and a 6 1/2 # she released plus many others.
There were only 4 boats out today on a day that if sea bass were open and good striped bass fishing was happening would have seen many fishermen down. It is a shame people don't porgies as they fight well and are great to eat. Thursday sea bass open and I am sure with the nice forecast the regulars will be down. NOT SAILING SUNDAY 10/18 Next trip Wednesday 10/21 I should have pictures up later. Thanks captain George |
