mad gaffer October 10 blackfish and porgy report

we had a charter today and after a bouncy morning , we started to catch bottom fish pretty well . we wound up with a nice catch of porgies all good size fish , and we kept a limit of nice big black fish and released quite a few big fish . Fish up to 8 pounds (Abe Beren had the big fish , and also bloated seven other fish but release them ,and Angelo Alumpus boated 4 keeping one nice one ,and snapped off a 10 pound plus at the surface were bolted and we had a hook snap off a 10 pound plus at the surface ) as the day got later , porgy fishing got better, and the fish got bigger .we also stopped in the morning and jigged a few bluefish waiting for the water to calm down a little bit. It wound up being a beautiful day we have quite a few fish in the boat , and we are on our way home. Tomorrow looks like a pristine day and we have an open boat tomorrow, as well as Monday call for information and reservations.
