![]() First drift in the morning- bang fish after fish 2 keepers. Second drift 00.00 mph drift perfect for .5 ounce of bucktail in the 60 ft. Until noon there was a slow drift and we caught 2 more keepers- a 4.75 and a 5.5 lb. before that drift was over there were 2 ft white caps and we decided to pack it in. Although the awful conditions we seemed to pull of a decent day. With these fluke heading far offshore i think its time to switch over to wreck fishing.

![]() He decided to head east. Tried the Chlorea Area. Had a bit of late start so missed the morning Drift. We bounced around the area for several hours. Max drift was 0.5 knt. Sucked. Plenty of shorts, a lot of keeper sea bass that went back, some small blues and a surprise Makeral.
Made the move back west and made several drifts in some nasty conditions. Got a nice 23" keeper and a bunch more 16-17.5" throw backs. Called it a day at 4:00. Sporty ride even in a 28' Reg. |
