Default Reach 9/1.....

Hit the lower end of the Reach staying to ourselves. Same MO as every trip this year. Took home 2 fat 18" and tossed back 20+ just short flatties. One bird and a couple of dogs rounded it out.

Fish were deep. Spearing and smelt were the ticket. BT's and teasers sucked.

Read a lot on the bottom along the edges on the ride in....porks....weaks....baitfish???

Colder weather can't come soon enough!!!!

Had those same readings in that area last Saturday. Was thinking weaks, but got no takers on some peanut bunker I rigged for them. Maybe they were small. Going to bring some worms next time.
