![]() Got out for a little bit last night with the wife for some Labor day smallies. No bruisers but good action with 1 to 2 pounders for the 2 1/2 hours we fished. No fish pics but here's one I snapped of the fish finder showing a bait ball and fish slashing up through it. The 2 sides of the screen won't exactly match since the sonar is on front transducer and the downscan on rear.

![]() Cool shot, water temp 77.3 ? that's pretty good, I was reading 82 that day on Pines lake.
my favorite technique to fish suspended smallies on bait balls is to drop a blade bait under it then rip it up through it, slowing down when i'm below and ontop of the bait pod! |
