![]() Friday afternoon, we had good action with short fluke and some nice keeper sea bass. Unfortunately, that season is now closed so all sea bass were thrown back.
Saturday night, we had very good action with mackerel and some blues. Everyone went home with plenty of fish. Sunday afternoon, it was a bit slower with the fluke fishing but we did manage a few keepers, as well as, some mackerel. Monday morning, we ran offshore, anchored up and chummed on top of a lump. The blues did not cooperate well, however, we managed to catch a few. The mackerel fishing was great with customers catching all they wanted on bait or Ava 27’s with teasers. Below are pictures from over the weekend. Join us on our FAMILY FUN DAY of fishing Sunday through Friday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. We will go out for fluke, sea bass, blues, whatever's biting and you can enjoy a sunset cruise on the way home. For an extra special experience, join us on our extended Thursday afternoon trips and catch the fireworks in Point Pleasant before heading home. For reservations, please call (732) 681-0030. Get your Miss Belmar t-shirts now! We have both long and short sleeves in black, indigo blue, white, charcoal grey and light grey for adults. In youth sizes we have pink, white and black t-shirts. To purchase, please give us a call at (732) 681-0030. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. ![]() WTF happened to bluefishing? these pictures made me laugh ,then cry. The fish are smaller than the bait and some are bait(Thimbleeye mackeral). Between dragging for squid on the edge of the shelf and Clean Ocean action getting the "Mud Dump" capped , its getting gdamm rediculous.
No Sea Bass, 1 black fish, cant find a bluefish or weakfish. No wonder we go over the quoto for fluke. Poor flatties dont have a chance. |
