Default ~*~ Delaware Night 07-27-2015~*~

This will be short and sweet.

Got to the river at 8pm left around 1:30am

Some flatheads and stripers and missed a bass that chased my shiner when I was realing it in.

Thanks Eddy for the sweet spot. Challenge accepted. LoL

Andre

He was in the PROMISED LAND Jmurr! Invasive species hunting in NJ. So easy a caveman can do it. Well done Andre, well done. How did that Flathead taste? 2nd day on the Flathead grounds with one in the bag.

Ha ha ha.

Just like chicken my brother.

Too bad I didn't have any seasoning.

Pretty much just cut him up, cleaned him out and on a grill he went.

But man, that roasted catfish smell...... I am surprised I didn't get all the bears in the neighborhood for dinner.

.

Congratulations on the Flathead.
I want to fish for a Flathead, but I'm afraid of the dark.

I'm curious as to taste of this species of catfish. I'm told Flatheads taste much better than Channel Catfish, but that's not all that hard to do.

Thank Thank you.

As far as taste goes it was better tasting than channel, but still debating if it will beat white.

One striper was a baby, probably born and raised in Delaware while the second one was pushing 18 inches.

Both were released.
