We got an early start on Saturday with my wife's cousin, who is new to fishing.
Started looking at some local spots but nothing but short fluke. I hate to drive over fish. Took a ride up north and fished shoulder to shoulder with everyone else. Alot of guys out there and as far as I could see most where setting up there drifts so they wouldn't cut anyone off. We picked away through the morning and boxed up five nice sea bass. Could have been a limit, but I really wanted everyone to say they caught there limit. Only one keeper fluke and a ton of shorts maybe four that were nice and heavy but just under 18". Good to see that alot of people got into them, slow for us but that's how it goes. We were back at the dock by noon.
