7/8 Bottom fishing

Haven't posted much this season so far, so figured I would finally get in the game and share. Been mostly offshore for me this year so far.

Mated for a non sponsor boat yesterday. Later than usual departure. Headed to the wrecks for sea bass! limited the boat out in 2 spots on jigs amongst loads of shorts. Came into the SGR and it was terrible. Jumped over to the Axel and worked around. Found a nice patch of fish at the end of the day. Put 6 keepers in the boat, 4 of them were over 23". Also picked at a few big sea bass, skates and sea robins. Final tally, 6 keepers to about 26" and boat limit of sea bass to about 4lbs.

Back at it again tomorrow.
