![]() It Paid to sail early and we had good fluking right away. It slowed when the fleet arrived. Bill Chevarini from Piscataway did it again. He was leading our big fluke pool with a 9 1/2 pound fluke for weeks until Monday when Jin ended the pool with his 10+ pound fluke. Well the pool restarted yesterday and is over $1100. Our leader in this pool is Bill with a 8 1/2 pound fluke. That's two beauties for him.
We Had 3 guys just missing their limit with 4 keepers each. It didn't matter which part of the boat as Bill had 4 in the bow, Cigar Bob had 4 in the back and Steve had 4 on the side. Yes some had all shorts and birds. That's fluking. Conditions limited where we could fish today and I had to keep changing areas. 7:00 Am sailing first boat on the fish. Galley open. Weekend weather looking doubtful so you may want to fish the next 2 days. Thanks Captain George |
