Fish Monger II Wed 6/24 Seabass Another Boat Limit (13 man ) to 3.5lbs /Fluke - Seem like I'm just repeating myself but It continues!!! Headed right back to where we left em yesterday n they were right there waiting... Drop n reel for the first hr with nice doubles n nice size jumbos in the mix... Pounded away for 80 there then made a move and it was more of the same up n down action till the guys had an early 10 man limit by 10 am. Action slowed up but we bounced around n picked until we had a full 13 man boat limit of 195 seabass some ling and we thee back a bunch of tog... another day with 200 in the box. Was so nice out we Finished the day fluking while the mates wacked the fish ( fillet permit is nice )... a few drifts good life lots of shorts n managed couple dozen shorts n 5 keepers as a bonus. Great day on the water thanks guys

What a great day on the Monger

The report reads like it was great drop and reel fishing in the am , I mean it was just cray-cray with the sea bass in the morning .Then from there we just scratched and picked till we had our limit.

Then it was time for Fluking. This charter was originally for a fluke trip and we were all syked and happy when we switched over, it was hysterical watching 10 grown men grabbing spro's and gulp smiling knocking crap over and out of the way to get to our gear, wish we had a video of it, way to funny. From there as the mates were filleting for like 2 hours we just drifted for the flatties , I was lucky enough to get one of the keepers with a bunch of shorts.

It was nice to meet fellow NJFishing.com members and put some names to the faces. Christian (Fisherman120) thanks for letting me fill in on the charter

I cant thank The Monger Boyz enough for an awesome day as always (Thanks John and even you Kevin for showing me how to correctly take a hook out of a sea bass-azz)

Captain Jerry Just remember anytime you want to throw sinkers at other boats so they can see who threw them you can always get on my shoulders sir - proud of ya and you only fired me once yesterday and I didn't get banned from the boat this time.

Banner day personally and one for the books - I wound up with a stupid amount of keeper sea bass, 3 togs and the big one pictured there, (I cant catch them that big when we are togging in the winter - friggin googan and that tog slammed my line and took off) a keeper fluke with a bunch of shorts plus some nice ling too.

Be Well - Be Safe and Fish-on
