Golden Eagle - BLUEFISHING Report
We picked at the fish today and ended up with a decent catch of BLUES that ranged up to 12 lbs. They were all caught on jigs and bait.
The weather is going to be great for the next couple days so come on down. SPECIAL AFTERNOON STRIPER TRIP - FRIDAY, JUNE 19 LEAVING AT 3:30. THE BOAT WILL BE LIMITED TO 20 PEOPLE AND THE COST IS $75.00. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW. The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ. Next NIGHT BLUEFISHING trip is SATURDAY, JUNE 20, leaving at 7:30 pm and returning around 2:30 am. Turned out to be a pretty good day. 8 blues to 12lbs for me + a keeper fluke on a whole sardine, go figure. Thanks for having bait available, worked like a charm during the lulls in the jig action.
